Google Play requires developers to publish a privacy policy and to make certain disclosures. This page brings the Play-specific ones together in one place. It supplements — and does not replace — our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Where a specific app's Play Store listing declares something different, that listing is authoritative for that app.

2. Data Safety declarations
Google Play's Data Safety section tells users what data an app collects and shares, before they install it. We complete it accurately for every app, review it at each release, and update it whenever data handling changes.
The commitments below apply across our published applications. The precise, per-app answers are always shown in the Data safety section of that app's Play Store listing.

Our standing commitments
- All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or above.
- Users can request that data be deleted — see Delete your account.
- We do not sell personal data to third parties.
- We do not share data with third parties for advertising or cross-app tracking.
- We collect no more than is needed for the feature the user has asked for.
- We follow Google's Families Policy in any app that targets or appeals to children.
3. Account deletion requirement
Google Play requires any app that lets users create an account to also let them request deletion of that account and its data, both inside the app and through a web page reachable without installing it.
https://techgptltd.web.app/delete-account
That page explains how to delete in-app and by email, lists exactly what is deleted, what is anonymised and what we must retain for legal reasons, and states the timeline: live systems within 30 days, backups within 90 days.
4. Permissions and sensitive APIs
We request the minimum permissions each app needs, ask for them in context at the moment the feature is used rather than at first launch, and design every app to degrade gracefully when a permission is declined.
| Permission | Why it might be requested |
|---|---|
INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | Communicating with our servers and detecting connectivity |
CAMERA | Only when you take a photo or scan a code within the app |
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES | Only when you choose to attach an image |
POST_NOTIFICATIONS | Sending notifications you have opted into |
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION | Only in apps with a location-dependent feature, requested in context |
RECORD_AUDIO | Only for voice features you actively start |
We do not request restricted permissions such as SMS, Call Log or All Files Access unless an app's core function requires them and Google has approved a declaration for it. We do not use accessibility services for anything other than genuine accessibility, and we do not collect the Android Advertising ID for advertising purposes.
5. Families and child safety
Any app of ours that targets children or has a mixed audience is enrolled in the Designed for Families programme and complies with Google Play's Families Policy. In those apps:
- No behavioural advertising is served to children, and no ads use personal data;
- No Android Advertising ID or persistent identifier is collected from children for advertising;
- Any external link, purchase flow or interest-based content is behind a verified parental gate;
- Content is appropriate to the declared age rating;
- We comply with COPPA and, where applicable, UK and EU children's data protection rules.
See our Children's Privacy Policy.
6. Payments and Google Play Billing
- Digital goods, subscriptions and in-app content are sold through Google Play Billing where Play policy requires it.
- Prices are shown in your local currency, inclusive of tax where the store displays it that way.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel in Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Where a free trial is offered, cancelling before it ends avoids any charge.
- Refunds for Play purchases are handled by Google under Google Play's refund policy. Google's own 48-hour refund window applies; after that, request a refund from Google, and contact us at support@techgptltd.com if you would like us to support your request.
- Deleting your account does not cancel a Play subscription — cancel it separately in the Play Store.
See our Refund Policy for how we handle refunds we control directly.
7. Content, ads and monetisation
- Our apps carry accurate content ratings obtained through the IARC questionnaire.
- Store listings describe what the app actually does — no misleading screenshots, keyword stuffing or fake claims.
- Where an app contains advertising, it is disclosed on the listing, ads are clearly distinguishable from content, and they never interfere with device functions or app navigation.
- We do not use deceptive ad formats, ads that mimic system notifications, or full-screen interstitials that cannot be dismissed.
- We do not include unexpected functionality, hidden features or code that downloads and executes new behaviour outside Play's rules.
8. AI-generated content
Where one of our apps generates content using AI, in line with Google Play's Generative AI policies:
- The AI functionality is disclosed in the store listing and inside the app;
- There is an in-app route to report offensive or inappropriate generated content, and reports are reviewed;
- Prompts and outputs are filtered against the production of prohibited content;
- Users are told that outputs may be inaccurate and should be verified;
- User content sent to a model provider is not used to train that provider's models.
9. Security and malware
Our applications contain no malware, spyware or unwanted software. We follow Google Play's Developer Program Policies, use only current and supported SDKs, keep dependencies patched, and respond promptly to Play Console policy or security alerts. Applications are signed with Play App Signing.
10. Support and contact
Every listing shows a working support email. We aim to respond within one business day.
