Working with us
How much does a project cost?
It depends entirely on scope. A focused MVP typically lands in the tens of thousands; a smaller, well-defined piece of work can be considerably less. We give a real figure after a short discovery conversation rather than a number picked before we understand the problem.
How long does a build take?
A straightforward app or web platform is usually 8–16 weeks from kickoff to launch. More complex products with integrations, compliance requirements or multiple user types take longer. We give a dated plan at the end of discovery and update it every sprint.
Do you work with startups as well as established companies?
Both. What matters more than size is whether the problem is clear enough to build against and whether there is someone available to make decisions during the project.
Who owns the code you write?
You do. On payment in full, the intellectual property in the bespoke deliverables transfers to you. Repositories and cloud accounts sit in your name from day one. See section 8 of our Terms of Service.
Can you take over an existing project?
Yes. We start with a short audit of the code, infrastructure and outstanding risks, then give you an honest view of whether it is better to continue with it or rebuild parts of it — including when the answer is that you do not need us.
What happens after launch?
Most clients move to a support retainer covering bug fixes, dependency and OS updates, monitoring and ongoing feature work. It is optional — you get a documented handover either way.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, routinely, before any detailed discussion. Send us yours or ask for ours.
Accounts and data
How do I delete my account?
Either in the app under Settings → Account → Delete account, or through our account deletion page. Data is removed from live systems within 30 days and from backups within 90.
Can I get a copy of my data?
Yes. Email privacy@techgptltd.com with the subject "Data export request" from your registered address. We respond within 30 days, usually much sooner, and provide the data in a machine-readable format.
Do you sell my data?
No. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising or cross-site tracking. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Is my content used to train AI models?
No. Where a product sends your input to a model provider to generate a response, we use enterprise or API tiers configured so that your content is not used for training, and we require that commitment contractually.
Where is my data stored?
Primarily in UK and EU data centres. Some providers operate elsewhere, including the United States; where data leaves the UK or EEA we rely on adequacy regulations, the International Data Transfer Agreement or Standard Contractual Clauses. See section 8 of our Privacy Policy.
I forgot my password. What now?
Use the "Forgot password" link on the sign-in screen. If the reset email does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then contact support@techgptltd.com. We will never ask you for your password.
Billing and subscriptions
How do I cancel a subscription?
If you subscribed inside an iOS app: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Inside an Android app: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions. If you subscribed on our website: your account settings, or email support@techgptltd.com.
Does deleting my account cancel my subscription?
Not if you bought it through Apple or Google — those are billed by the store, so cancel there separately. Subscriptions billed directly by us are cancelled automatically when your account is deleted.
Can I get a refund?
App store purchases are refunded by Apple or Google under their policies. For anything billed directly by us, see our Refund Policy — including the 14-day consumer right to cancel.
Do your prices include VAT?
Quoted service fees exclude VAT, which is added at the prevailing rate where applicable. App store prices are shown inclusive of local taxes by the store.
Technical
Which technologies do you use?
Mainly React and Next.js on the web, Flutter or native Swift and Kotlin on mobile, Node.js, Python and Laravel on the server, with PostgreSQL or Firebase for data, hosted on AWS, Google Cloud or Vercel. We pick per project rather than forcing one stack onto every problem.
Do you build AI features?
Yes — retrieval over your own documents, assistants, extraction and classification pipelines, built on current model APIs with evaluation, guardrails and cost control designed in. See AI product work.
How do I report a bug?
Email support@techgptltd.com with the app version, your device and OS, and the steps to reproduce it. Our support page lists exactly what helps us fix it fastest.
How do I report a security vulnerability?
Email security@techgptltd.com. We acknowledge within 3 business days. Our disclosure guidelines are on the Security page.
